Josh Lord, The Ancient Future

We’re truly excited to share with you our forthcoming exhibition, The Ancient Future by Josh Lord. This exhibition is the culmination of two years of practice, and we’re extremely proud to present it to you.

Inspired by cyberpunk visions and the fragility of ancient civilisations, Lord’s practice explores the tension of “high tech, low life.” In these layered worlds, technology glows with promise even as it foreshadows collapse. Familiar icons—Coca-Cola signs, fragments of mass culture—are recast as relics, stripped of meaning and reborn as ritual objects. Lord invites us to see our own time as both luminous and fragile, already slipping into history.
