Hailing from Walcha NSW and on Sydney’s northern beaches, my practice has become a mix of various techniques starting with a digital concept where I can adjust and play with composition, content and colour easily changing and editing the artwork concept till happy. This is then fleshed out on usually wooden boards and then using techniques including airbrush, spray cans, brush and screen printing. I also like to take to the works with sand paper throughout the process adding to layers throughout the process. Silly Pear is a one-man show, blending vibrant, humorous visuals with an unconventional approach to design. Nivison's work is bold and characterful, infusing his quirky designs with personality and charm that set them apart from more generic styles. His illustrations and paintings—packed with bright colors and lively characters—celebrate joy, movement, and whimsy, while his creative services offer an alternative to the mainstream, capturing attention with authenticity and originality. Based in Sydney, Silly Pear remains true to its roots, embodying the DIY spirit and passion that has fueled Nivison’s creative journey from the start.
